X Factor star and Harrow resident Johnny Robinson will be switching on the town’s Christmas tree lights.
The singer from West Harrow will kick off the official countdown to Christmas as part of an evening of entertainment in Harrow town centre on Thursday, December 1.
The fun starts at 3.30pm with street entertainers, balloon artists and a giant robot appearing in St Ann’s Road.
A new “light garden” art installation featuring giant flowers will light up outside St George’s Centre at 4.15pm.
Johnny will flick the switch on the Christmas tree near the statue of Katie at 6.30pm followed by carol singers from local churches.
