Discuss transport issues

London’s transport watchdog is staging a “transport users’ surgery” for Harrow residents and visitors on November 10.

London TravelWatch will set up shop near Harrow-on-the-Hill Tube station from 10am to 1pm and is keen to hear about transport issues that matter to local people.

HCRA quiz night

It’s time to dust off your thinking caps in preparation for HCRA’s quiz night on Saturday, October 20.

Friends and neighbours will be pitting their wits against each other at the event, which will take place in the Sea Cadets’ Hut at the end of Woodlands Road.

Contestants are invited to make up their own teams of eight people. But people are welcome to show up on their own or with a friend and make up teams on the night.

Tickets cost £3 to cover the cost of hiring the hall. Doors open at about 7.30pm with the quiz kicking off at 8pm.

If you are interested in attending please email events@hcra.org.uk or call 07516 402025.

Missing cat

Neighbours are being asked to check sheds and garages as part of a search for a missing cat.

The cat – who answers to the name of Millie – is white with tabby and black patches and has a distinctive patch over one eye.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen the cat should call her owners on 07920 745834 or 07903 682886.
