Plan to turn former mosque into nine new homes

Harrow Central Mosque has submitted plans to turn its former base into nine new homes.

The two houses in Station Road – numbers 36 and 38 next to the new mosque building – would be extended at the back and converted into nine flats.

Two of the new dwellings would be used for the Imam and caretaker for the mosque while the other units would be “affordable housing” with the mosque acting as landlord.

To view the plans go to Harrow Council’s website and use the planning search. The planning application number is: P/3199/12
