A centre for elderly Asian people housed in the former Magistrates’ Court building in Rosslyn Crescent will officially open its doors next month.
Over the past few months the dilapidated court building has been transformed into the Jaspar Centre, which will provide support and services to the local Asian community.
The centre is owned and managed by the Jaspar Foundation, which previously ran some of its activities at Harrow Leisure Centre.
The listed building will now be a base for social activities and classes such as yoga, dancing and singing as well as lunches, clinics and other welfare support. Facilities will also be available for hire.
The centre will celebrate it’s official launch on July 22.
