Bob the Builder and Peppa Pig are among the celebrities joining in a day of celebration in Harrow town centre as the countdown to Christmas begins in earnest.

The event on Saturday, November 30, from midday to 6pm will feature performances from the Harrow Steel Pan Orchestra and local X Factor stars Mitsotu plus a sneak preview of this year’s Harrow Arts Centre pantomime.

Festivities will conclude with the switching on of Harrow’s Christmas tree lights by the mayor and a fireworks display from the rooftop of St George’s shopping centre.
