Harrow and Wealdstone would become a “new opportunity area” with a target of 2,800 new homes, under plans currently being consulted on by the Mayor of London.
The area is already classed as an “intensification area” under the Heart of Harrow plan with a target of 1,500 new homes and 2,000 new jobs.
But the Mayor of London has proposed a goal of 2,800 new homes and 3,000 new jobs prompting fears of over-development and pressure on roads and resources.
Residents have until April 10 to have their say on the plans. Find out more here.
