Woodlands Road will among roads to be closed when Harrow stages its first Freedom Parade in 18 years.
The event, to celebrate Freedom of the Borough being granted to Harrow air cadets and members of the Girls’ Brigade, will take place on Saturday, September 20.
It will involve a procession from Harrow town centre to the Civic Centre in Station Road featuring serving soldiers and veterans from the Royal British Legion.
Also taking part in the parade will be the Band of the Royal Engineers and Glen Trew Pipe Band plus local army, sea and police cadets, scouts and guides.
Residents can expect roads and traffic to be disrupted from about 8.30am to 1.30pm, according to Harrow Council.
Woodlands Road, Fairholme Road and High Mead will be closed with partial road closures in place elsewhere along the route.
